About us

This all started because I had chapped lips and five different lip balms that didn’t work. In my quest to find the perfect balm, I stumbled into the world of handmade crafts. I learned that I could design a product specifically for my needs without harsh chemicals or preservatives, so that's exactly what I did. I began experimenting with different oils and butters and along the way discovered the differences between organic and non-organic ingredients, and the different properties of fruit and nut oils and butters. It's been a fascinating journey to say the least. We make most of our products to order and use high grade essential oils, organic botanical flavor oils and all natural and organic fruit and nut oils, most are organic and raw, and all are vegetarian and/or vegan and contain NO parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petrochemicals, animal products (except raw organic honey), artificial colors, or fragrances.

I consider myself lucky to finally have discovered my passion. I love creating these products but more than that, I love how it helps my clients.

Giving Back

Another of our goals is to give back to women around the world who are struggling to live authentic lives. In our effort to do this, we will donate a portion of sales from our acai + chocolate cocoapods to two organizations: Kiva.org and Women for Women International.

We believe in the power of women.

Kiva is the first non-profit organization to enable individuals to make personal loans to microenterprises in developing countries. Kiva is the first micro lending web site designed to provide individuals with the ability to connect with and make personal loans to small businesses in developing countries. Kiva's goal is to reduce poverty in developing countries by giving entrepreneurs the ability to build their businesses through flexible loans with six- to 12-month terms. Kiva allows individuals to act as a "micro VC" by loaning directly to entrepreneurs with feasible business plans.

Women for Women International supports women in war-torn regions with financial and emotional aid, job-skills training, rights education and small business assistance so they can rebuild their lives.

Shelf life

To ensure freshness, it is best to use all products within 6 months of receiving them. Products will stay fresh longer if water is kept out of the container. Tighten all lids and store in a cool, dark place to keep the essential oil blends from fading and evaporating.

Please note that because our products are handmade and made of 100% natural ingredients, there may be slight variations in color, shape, texture or scent.

Our Body care Product Line does not contain the following:

* We will introduce one fragrance oil to a separate line of products in the future. It is a scent we love and want to share.

Preservatives

We do not use water in our products; water is natural, but also a cheap filler that causes bacteria growth and the need for harsh preservatives. In the products where the customer may introduce water, we have chosen a broad-spectrum preservative system that uses Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol, both of which are derived from natural safe and effective sources and offer effective protection against bacteria, yeast, fungi microbes and molds. We use a very small amount (less than 2%) of this preservative along with other natural inhibitors and antioxidants. 

We do not test our products on animals other than humans.

placing an order

You can place an order quickly and easily through our secure online shopping cart. You may order online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

payment methods

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express via PayPal through our secure online processing. PayPal is one of the highest rated and safest online payment methods on the internet. PayPal accepts all common credit cards, and some not so common ones. We are also very careful with your personal information and will never sell our contact list to anyone, for any reason.

Sorry, but we do not currently accept personal checks or money orders at this time.

shipping methods

Domestic retail orders are typically shipped within 7 business days. You will be sent a confirmation email when your order has been processed and shipped.

Shipping costs are determined by weight. All orders are shipped via USPS. 

International orders are shipped via USPS. Please select either First Class International or Priority Mail International upon checkout. Please note that First Class International does not come with tracking/delivery confirmation information of any kind, and we cannot be responsible for delayed or lost packages shipped with this method. International customers are responsible for all duties and tariffs incurred by your purchase.

sales tax

Sales Tax: North Carolina, USA
State law requires that we charge sales tax on any and all orders being shipped to the State of North Carolina.

There is no sales tax on orders shipped outside of North Carolina.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: The customer is responsible for any and all customs or duty tax charges on the order.

return policy

Please be aware that all sales are final and are not subject to return. Also, due to the freshness of our products, we cannot accept returns, issue refunds or credits. Please be sure of your purchase prior to completing your order. If your package arrives damaged or if you receive an incorrect item your claim must be received within 48 hours of delivery. Damaged items must be returned unused in their original condition and in original packaging. Sale items or custom orders cannot be returned. You are responsible for carefully packaging and shipping your order back to us, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged in the mail. We also recommend purchasing insurance and/or delivery confirmation for your return shipment. Contact us at orders@dannidavisskin.com.

Sorry, shipping and handling fees are not refundable on returns.

Gift Certificates

This is an electronic gift certificate sent via e-mail, therefore, there is no shipping fee. Because Gift Certificates are the same as cash, Gift Certificate purchases are held until payment is confirmed. Once confirmed, the gift certificate will be emailed to the recipient. This may take up to 2 business days.

Terms and Conditions

1. Gift Certificates must be redeemed through the Danni Davis Skin website toward the purchase of products.
2. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a cash refund.
3. If your order exceeds the amount of your Gift Certificate, you must pay the balance by other payment methods offered.
4. Gift Certificates cannot be used on prior purchases.
5. We are not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Certificates.
6. We have the right to revoke fraudulently-obtained Gift Certificates.
7. If a fraudulent Gift Certificate was redeemed through the Danni Davis Skins website or used to make a purchase, we have the right to close customer accounts and request alternative forms of payment.
